This was not a little project either, they leveled a weird hill we had, moved an old rock wall (even built a new rock wall with the old stones to another part of the yard that needed), and built a beautiful new patio and retaining wall with a built-in bench. Can't recommend them enough and will get more projects done by them in the future! *In the photos you will see a concrete wall, they did not do that ugly thing. That is getting covered by a fence that will sit on-top of the lovely wall New Life built.

stone

When it comes to stone and rock selections, we generally suggest sandstone, granite, basalt, or limestone. We take into consideration the size, texture, color, and shape of the rocks of you chose when we pick the material that we will use to build your Bothell rockery. Retaining Wall Types

New Life Rockeries mainly utilizes three types of rock in our projects.

One Man, Half Man Rock
These projects can often be assembled by hand and are good for small wall builds. One must understand that one man and half man stones are not rocks a man can lift, these are rocks that can be moved with the use of a crowbar. When working half man projects, we use a larger crew so we can complete as much of the job in a single day.

Two and Three Man Rock

These stones can only be placed with the use of a machine. Due to this, our teams will consist of one operator as well as one man on the ground and another driving a supply truck. This is the most common type of rockery construction our crews do. We use a custom mini machine that has been specially modified to ensure the construction of these walls both quick and economical. Our teams can construct 400-600 square foot of wall on an average day.

Boulders

Due to boulders smooth surfaces and round edges, we rarely used them in the assembly of rock walls. Sometimes we will insert boulders within rock walls to add an aesthetic enhancement to the project, but they are generally not as practical as rocks when building retaining walls.

Water features are an excellent choice when you wish to elevate the beauty of your rockery project. Options like falls, ponds, pools, and fountains are all great choices that add beauty to your property and can also help direct water flow through your Bothell property.
