One Man Half Man Rock
Best for small walls, these walls can be constructed mostly by hand. The term half man and one man rocks can be deceiving. Stones of this size require equipment and men with crowbars to move due to the fact that they are far too heavy for a person to lift. Due to the weight of these stones, crews for these builds are much larger so that the work can be completed in a timely manner.
Two to Three Man Rock
Rocks of this size can only be moved with the use of specialized equipment. The work teams on these projects consist of 3 men. One will work on site to assemble the rock wall, one will drive the truck back and forth bringing materials to the work site, and the last man will operate the machine to move the rocks in place for the first crewmen.
These are the jobs that our company specializes in, and they are the most common work that we do. We employ specialized mini machines that we have designed to aid our crew in a quick and efficient manner. With these machines, our teams can construct 400 -600 feet of rock wall in a single day.
Boulders
Surprisingly, boulders are not considered a good material for rock wall construction due to their smooth, rounded shape. Instead, they are best employed for visual enhancement to your rock wall. Boulders make a striking addition to a finished wall and complement the beauty of any rock construction.
Water Features
In addition to plants, New Life Rockeries also uses water features to enhance the beauty of your structure. Water features encompass all manner of water enhancements from pools to waterfalls as well as fountains.
